Return to the Body — Men’s Immersion Retreat
April 10–13, 2026 · Sierra Foothills, CA (between Sacramento & Lake Tahoe)
Return to the Body is a 4-day men’s retreat centered on breathwork, embodiment, and authentic brotherhood.
The retreat is about returning to the body.
So often we live stuck in our minds — in thoughts, analysis, worry, and planning — and we lose touch with the vitality we once felt as kids. Through intentional practices — breath, focused attention, awareness, and mindfulness — we begin bringing our attention back into the body.
And as we come back into the body, we begin to access something deeper: an inner knowing.
There is an intelligence within the body — an ancient wisdom — what the Greeks called gnosis (with a “G”) — not intellectual knowledge, but direct knowing through experience.
From that place we don’t have to force life anymore.
We feel it.
We begin to feel the richness of being alive.
We make more grounded decisions.
We become steadier, more loving, more compassionate, and more authentically ourselves.
We learn how to both give and receive — to re-enter the flow of life rather than control it.
And when we return home, we don’t just carry a memory of the weekend.
We carry practices.
We carry tools.
We carry wisdom — embodied wisdom.
Because with every breath, there is an opportunity for a new moment.
It's an opportunity to step away from the noise and constant stimulation to calm the mind and body. To go inward, and connect authentically with other men.
Through guided breathwork journeys, somatic practices, men’s circles, time in nature, and fireside connection, you’ll step out of constant thinking and back into direct experience — learning how to regulate your nervous system, feel your emotions without being overwhelmed, and meet life with grounded presence.
We work with the breath, the body, movement, stillness, and honest conversation.
Men often leave with:
• a calmer nervous system
• greater emotional awareness and clarity
• tools they can actually use in relationships and daily life
• a circle of men who have seen them and accepted them
• a renewed sense of vitality and passion for life
Limited to ~12 men to maintain depth and safety.
