What Does the Initiation Entail?
In the months leading up to the private initiation retreat, you'll train to strengthen yourself physically, emotionally, and spiritually. During the retreat itself, we meet in person in the heart of Nature to dive into shared embodiment, shamanic, and somatic practices from sunrise to sunset — nourished by excellent farm-to-table meals from our private chef, and culminating in a transformative initiation ceremony on the final night.
The ceremony itself is intentionally private, but know that it is designed to connect you on a cellular level to the deepest part of you — bringing you into communion with the Great Mother, Nature, your Higher Self, God, or however you choose to call Her.

MWI receives more applications than available slots. Apply as early as possible — new participants are chosen by readiness, willingness, openness, and commitment. Alumni can skip to interview.
Be Invited to Interview
Not all applicants are invited. All new applicants go through a brief application / interview process before entry is confirmed.
Pay Your Tuition
Within 72 hours of your interview you'll receive an invitation to join, or a note on fit. If invited, complete your tuition to claim your spot.
Choose Your Path to Enter
Room & board at the retreat location, plus meals, are included in the cost of the program. Travel costs are not included.
Free access to Embodied Masculine's weekly embodiment circle gatherings during the session period.
One full scholarship (The Sellis Scholarship) and one partial scholarship (The Wisner Scholarship) are available per session. Only men invited to the program may apply — email mwi@embodiedmasculine.com with subject "MWI 2027 Sellis Scholarship" or "MWI 2027 Wisner Scholarship." Prior scholarship recipients are not eligible to reapply.
The MWI Scholarship Fund
The Men's Work Intensive Scholarship Fund is stewarded through the Embodied Masculine Foundation, our nonprofit arm devoted to expanding access to transformational men's work for those who are called but may not currently have the means. Every contribution goes directly toward supporting qualified applicants who need financial assistance to enter the container.
