Countdown To The Start Of Next Session - 01/02/2027 6:00 P.M PST
"Men come seeking answers on why they keep getting into the same types of relationships with similar outcomes, having issues surrounding money or feeling stuck in their lives. They want to fix or change their outside circumstances in order to feel better on the inside. We change that paradigm perspective in this work. We shift our attention and awareness inward. Before a man can know and claim his purpose, he must burn his attachments which preoccupy his mind and his life. As he does, he will pick up the scent of his inner essence - his higher self - to guide and lead him. He then learns to develop and nurture that inner flame. He stops his conquest to feel free from the burdens of his circumstances and finds nourishment through his connection to the Divine. He stops falling in love with the gifts and starts falling in love with the Giver."
The 8 Intentions of The MWI Program:
- To be a catalyst of TRANSFORMATION in men's lives
- To cultivate a deeper CONNECTION to one's highest self & the natural world
- To bring about clarity of PURPOSE
- To empower and SUPPORT men through a journey of deep introspection and integrity
- To FREE men of their attachments and unhealthy habits
- INSPIRE men to alchemize their wounds into their GIFTS
- To provide a safe container of ACCOUNTABILITY
- To cultivate a more profound capacity for men to live in their POWER
This work will culminate with a private 4-day/3-night male initiation retreat.
"A life-changing experience. In addition to feeling a deeper connection with my own self and emotions, the relationships and friendships formed with all the men in the container are truly priceless. The value I gained from this work and course far exceeds anything I’ve done before. I now have tools and practices that are woven into my day-to-day life. The amount of energy I can now hold in my mind and body has expanded — what felt overwhelming six months ago is now effortless."
— Steven J.
What MWI (previously known as MI-IR) Alumni Have To Say
"No words are sufficient to do justice to Amir Khalighi’s intuitive guidance, wisdom and powerful shamanic practices which he has built upon over decades of assisting men to step into their power and take control of their lives.
If you are fortunate enough to be invited to join one of Embodied Masculine’s MWI Containers, jump at the opportunity. It is a game changing, transformative journey, where the results are tangible not only within yourself, but to those close to you. You are welcomed into a brotherhood of men, who unconditionally will always be there for you."
— Johnnie P.
"I say without reservation that the Men's Work Intensive Program has been one of the best experiences of my life. Coming into the program I had a deep desire for community, belonging. As a gay man with childhood trauma, I had always guarded my heart, blocking love from men, straight and gay. The impact MWI has had on me has been life changing. I've found ways to help open my heart, and through deep practice, I can honestly say for the first time in my life, I feel like I belong, I feel equal, a man among men. There is deep, healing medicine that we can receive, from other men. This program will show you how to cultivate and grow that practice. My deepest gratitude to Amir for his leadership, guidance, love."
— Frank L.
"The program will create a truly new man with an amazing process and plan to help one dive deep. It’s hard at times to look inward, but the MWI program will support you though changes you not only know you need, but push your edges to reach new places in your heart and soul. I cannot put the proper words into explaining what the container will bring to your life, and with your ability to open up and change your entire perspective with life. I wish every man in this world could experience this. It’s so rewarding and a true blessing in my life."
— Paul U.
"This was one of the most profound experiences of my life. A space where I felt completely safe to be me—safe to cry, to scream, to acknowledge parts of myself that had long been neglected.
It was a space where giving and receiving love from another man felt not only natural but deeply healing. Life-long bonds were formed. Healing happened and lives—including mine—were changed forever.
My eyes were opened to a deeper way existing, a peace that I didn't even know I was searching for. I am forever grateful for this experience, and for the new family I found within it."
— Mason R.
The Program Culminates With A 4 Day / 3 Night Initiation Retreat At:
2027 Tentative Location: TBD
"Having been a part of two MWI retreats, I can see for certain how powerful this community is and how impactful the work that we do is. Going through this program has changed my life for the better, and now I’ve seen it do the same for a good number of other men. Once you say “yes” and lean in, it is hard not to be swept into the current of brotherly love and come out the other side forever changed, more courageous, more whole, more connected to a higher purpose. "
— Sean W.
"I have been through a big shift in my life when this program started and with the support of my brothers I went even deeper and took decisions for my life that I couldn’t imagine happening before.
I feel free, grounded and connected. I feel much more confident for my life and anything that is coming up for me. Among all the communities I’ve known, this brotherhood stands out for its unwavering support and deep integrity."
— Ali M.
"I had shut my heart off—trying to numb the ache inside with booze, drugs, and women. But I came to understand that, through all the hardship, my pain had forged something powerful within me. I discovered that I could connect to a divine life source. And when I finally listened to that sacred energy and fully surrendered to it, I found something I had never known before: peace and serenity.
MWI is a path that brings you back to your authentic self. The work is demanding—at times excruciating—but if you stay the course, if you commit fully, you'll uncover your true purpose and emerge a changed man."
— Freddy O.

The MWI Scholarship Fund
The Men’s Work Intensive Scholarship Fund is now stewarded through the Embodied Masculine Foundation, our nonprofit arm devoted to expanding access to transformational men’s work for those who are called but may not currently have the financial means.
The heart of this fund is simple: to ensure that finances never become the reason a man cannot step into the work that may change the course of his life. While the MWI has historically offered one full scholarship per program, the need consistently exceeds the number of seats we can support. Through the Foundation, we now have the capacity to widen that doorway.
If the MWI has profoundly supported your life, or if someone you love has been impacted by the growth, healing, and leadership that emerged through this initiatory path, we invite you to pay that transformation forward through a tax-deductible donation.
Every contribution goes directly toward supporting qualified applicants who need financial assistance to enter the Men’s Work Intensive.
Below are two ways you can contribute:
1. Flexible Contribution
Choose any donation amount that feels aligned. Every dollar directly strengthens access and helps expand the scholarship fund for future men entering the container.
2. Full Scholarship Sponsorship
Sponsor the full tuition for one or more prospective attendees. When selecting this option, the scholarship may be offered in honor of your family name, allowing your lineage of generosity to directly support another man’s initiation.
Let’s continue building a culture where the men who are truly called to this work are supported by the strength of the community and the generosity of those whose lives have already been changed by it.
