Priv. Manor on 89 Acres Sheffield, MA
This spectacular property spans approximately 89 acres, nestled in the heart of nature, and holds both spiritual and historical significance. It offers stunning distant views, a serene pond, and many buildings to support our retreat.
The land comprises approximately 73 acres in the Southern Berkshires and 15 adjoining acres in Salisbury, CT, with the entire Connecticut side running along Sage’s Ravine. This area is historically significant as it was once inhabited by indigenous Native American tribes who revered the land for its natural beauty and spiritual energy. The property features walking trails throughout and provides access to the Appalachian Trail, a historic route that has long been a pathway for exploration and spiritual journeys. This will make for some amazing nature excursions.
The land of Salisbury, CT, has a rich history of indigenous habitation, primarily by the Mohican (or Mahican) and Pequot tribes. These Native American tribes have deep cultural and spiritual connections to the land.
As facilitators and attendees, we approach this land with reverence, bringing our hearts, practices, and prayers to bless this land. Our intention is to give back to this special land, to bless and enrich it, rather than to take from it.
