Embodied Masculine™ Men's Embodiment Circle

The First and Longest Running Men's Embodiment Circle in the United States

For over eight years, the Embodied Masculine™ Men's Embodiment Circle has been a sacred weekly men's group dedicated to awakening the conscious masculine.

As the first and longest running men's embodiment circle in the country, this virtual gathering offers a powerful space for men seeking depth, transformation, and true connection.

This is more than a men's circle — it's a rite of return. Each week, men from across the globe step into this online men's group to reclaim their inner authority, to shed outdated conditioning, and to embody a more awakened, integrated masculine presence.

Every gathering is crafted with deep intention, blending modern somatic practices with ancient wisdom. Through breathwork, movement, guided meditation, archetypal exploration, and rituals, we engage the body as a sacred gateway to the soul. We draw from diverse traditions, including Tibetan Buddhism, Qigong, Jungian psychology, Kundalini Yoga, shamanic teachings, and shadow work, offering a holistic path of healing, empowerment, and self-actualization.

Our men's group is not about performance or pretense; it's about presence, truth, and grounded spiritual practice. Whether you're just beginning your inner work or have been walking this path for years, you are welcome here.

Each men's embodiment circle session is two hours long. We begin with 15 minutes of introductions and intention-setting, followed by 75 minutes of immersive deep practice, and conclude with a heartfelt, confidential sharing circle. The Zoom recording is paused during shares to honor the sacred privacy of what is spoken.

This men's circle is a place to bring your full self — your fire, your fears, your longings, your wisdom. It's a space where men hold one another in accountability, brotherhood, and reverence. Here, we remember that healing happens in community. Growth happens in practice. And awakening happens in Divine timing.

Join us in the Embodied Masculine™ Men's Embodiment Circle, an online men's group where the sacred masculine is remembered, reclaimed, and embodied. We look forward to welcoming you into the circle.

“Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving — it doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vows a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come.”
— Rumi

Sister Offering

Women's Embodiment Circles
By Way Of The Elements

Way of the Elements offers intimate spaces where women are invited to slow down, soften, and remember the wisdom that has always lived within them. Through Women's Embodiment Circles and the ancient medicine of Cha Dao—the Way of Tea—each offering gently guides participants out of the demands of everyday life and back into the quiet intelligence of the body. Rooted in somatic embodiment, sacred ritual, movement, breath, and deep presence, this work is an invitation to reconnect with your intuition, awaken your vitality, and rediscover the truth that cannot be found through thinking alone, but through listening.

Whether gathered in circle or sitting together in the stillness of tea ceremony, each experience becomes a sanctuary where the nervous system can settle, the heart can open, and what has long been waiting beneath the surface can finally be beheld with compassion. There is nothing to fix and no ideal to attain. Only an opportunity to return—to your body, to nature, to your inner knowing, and to the timeless rhythm of the feminine that has always been calling you home.

& Space To Prepare

Virtual Attendance

Privacy

Set aside two uninterrupted hours for yourself. This is your time to give to yourself. You will need privacy.

Intention

Set an intention on what you want to bring or receive in these two hours. You will be asked to share your intention during introductions. Keep it short and to the point.

Setting / Sacred Space

Create a sacred space for yourself to practice in. Take this seriously. If you've ever been to our physical gatherings, you see what meticulous attention goes into creating the sacred space we work in. At a minimum set yourself up with candles at the four directions and sage your space before stepping into it. You want your space to feel safe and inviting. Set it apart from other parts of your living space and elevate it. Make it sacred. Do not join a call from your car or a public place.

Technical Non-Issues

Make sure you get your audio and video sorted out and that you have the latest version of Zoom before the start of the meeting so you don't have to fuss with it when we begin. Wireless earbuds or headphones are recommended.

Don't Rush

Set time aside for yourself to do this right. Make sure you log in as close to 5:45 PM PT as possible, sit and ground yourself, you will see other men doing the same. This is your time, ease into the experience. Refrain from chatting with others, checking your phone, etc. Sit, and tune into the music being played and settle in. We start promptly at 6:00 PM PST.

Structure

Introductions & setting intentions (approx. 15 min), followed by practice (approx. 75 min). After practice the recording is turned off as we move into the sharing circle (approx. 30 min). The sharing circle allows each man who desires to put his voice into the circle. What you share here, stays here in absolute privacy.

Honor The Container

No late entries. No early departures. We honor ourselves and listen to our bodies. We go ALL IN yet are cognizant to advocate for ourselves as not to participate from a space of ego during practices. We find where our 80% edge lives and we breathe into the pose at hand and relax into it. What is shared in our circle portion of our gathering is considered sacred and private; it does not get shared with anyone, it stays in the circle. All practices are recorded and shared on our private online community page, but no recordings take place during the circle portion of our gathering.

Processing Potential Triggers

Some practices take us deep into spaces within the body and the unconscious where we hold pain and sometimes trauma. You are in a safe container and letting go and leaning in is encouraged, but if by chance, post-practice you find yourself feeling stuck or triggered, we ask that you send a private chat message to your facilitator. Then stay after the circle portion of the gathering to work with him in helping you move through the existing charge.

Meet Your Facilitators

Head Facilitator: Amir Khalighi

Amir Khalighi is the founder of Embodied Masculine and the head facilitator of the Men's Embodiment Circle. Amir's work with men spans 30 years, with the subsequent founding of Embodied Masculine™ in 2018. His passion in the field of men's work has been most influenced by mythopoetic men's work, Sufi mysticism, yogic intimacy, Celtic mythology, Shamanism, Hermetic Qabalah, and Jungian archetypal psychology (see our lineage page for a deeper look).

He has dedicated his life to empowering men to live purpose-driven lives and connecting them to their highest sense of self and the Natural world.

Amir's approach invites men beyond self-improvement and into self-remembrance. He believes that beneath every conditioned identity lies an authentic expression of masculine intelligence waiting to be embodied, not through force, but through presence, devotion, and direct experience. His work guides men to meet themselves fully, transform suffering into wisdom, and cultivate the capacity to lead from integrity, love, and conscious relationship with the world around them. Rather than offering answers to follow, he creates experiences that allow each man to discover the truth of his own nature, embody his unique gifts, and become a living force of service for his family, community, and future generations.

“In one sense, the voyage of self-discovery is solitary, but that doesn't mean you have to take it all alone. A lot of men suffer silently when they are in creative chaos and feel something is wrong with them because they don't realize other men are experiencing a similar disintegration of the old modes of masculinity. In matters of the psyche and spirit, taking the journey and telling the story go hand-in-glove, and that is why we need a listening community in order to make our solitary pilgrimage. The most powerful resource we have for transforming ourselves is honest conversation between men and men, women and men, men and women.”
— Sam Keen, Fire In The Belly

“Come, come, whoever you are. Wanderer, worshiper, lover of leaving — it doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, yet again, come, come.” — Rumi
